Top moments of 2008? Who doesn't love a little stroll down memory lane now and then? Let's talk about the best moments of 2008. BEST RACE: for me I liked The AMP Energy 500. I mean two big ones. How cool is that? BEST CRASH: Mike McDowell in Texas. I swear that dude is now famous. It's a sure testament to the COT that he's still even standing. I think my favorite moment of 2008 was when Gordon got the pole at Texas in the fall. It was so special to see Jeff that happy and shocked. It was in the green car too HAH So, tell about your favorite 2008 moments

Well, I am a little late with this, as the day is over half over. Sorry about that guys and gals.
By now we all know NASCAR banned testing to help save the teams some money in 2009. The issue will be revisited mid season to see what to do next. Make no mistake the economy sucks, and our sport will most likely feel the biggest blow in these troubled times because we are so cooperate.
so today's topic is all about if you were nascar what are 2 things you would change to help the sport stay standing in this time of crisis. It can be a new rule, schedule modification. WHATEVER! Just drop a comment and we will see where this goes.
NOTE TO LURKERS: It's nice to say hi now and then. I don't bite...I promise

87 days till Daytona !!!
and counting.. I little something I came up with at 4am this morning...new post each day with NASCAR stuff LOL oh yeah AMP is golden
Let's get this underway
Who do you think will be the top guys fighting for the cup in homestead next year?
The 3 Peater ( or quad guy)
I think seeing Jimmie Johnson up there is not going to be out of the realm of possibly. Let's face it, who is going to stop him? The guy has a serious momentum swing going, and his crew chief is a genius. Until someone stops him. or steps up to challenge him we will continue to hear more about Jimmie Johnson
Carl Edwards ( comeback king )
Edwards knows the two moments that killed his chase run. he named them for all to hear at Homestead Miami. He admits that causing the "big one" at Talladega was one, and when they lost the ignition boxes at Lowes Motorspeedway, the 99 team was in serious chase trouble. I am thinking Edwards will be in the running again. Maybe, just maybe he can pull it off this time.
Kyle Busch (Shades)
If there's one thing I know, it's that anger can do a lot to people. It's a great motivator. I am not saying it's going to lead him to a championship or even the chase, but it's a start. Kyle had a fantastic year and then watched it all disappear in 3 races. No one saw it coming. Perhaps it was pride, or ignorance, or both. Whatever the reason, the 18 should be competitive once again.
All the junk they 18 team is spitting this week is making me sick to my stomach, most notably this little one liner:
"We had a great season," he added. "I can't complain about it."
Kyle's crew chief Steve Addington had that little gem to say in an interview that sits on NASCAR.com's homepage this very minute.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
Oh, Steve PLLLEASSE!! You were happy you didn't win the championship and that it went to Jimmie Johnson and somehow almost no one remembers your eight wins because the runner up Carl Edwards got nine? Really Steve? That Makes you happy?
It's 87 days till Daytona! Now its your turn to answer to answer the question. I don't just talk to myself ya know.
Have a great day
