That title is another pathetic attempt at a “hook line” I am just too crazy right now to put more into it. If you are wondering why I am crazy then read on, otherwise remain clueless, skip this blog and miss out on perhaps the best racing spectacle on the planet!

As you know NASCAR has three top series. There is the Sprint Cup ( that has Jeff and Jimme), The Nationwide ( sorta like the Sprint Cup, but with less talent, and no COT), and then there is the gem….THE TRUCKS!

I am serious, I always thought the trucks would be boring because the racers in that series have less talent. DUDES I WAS WAY OFF! I don’t think I could have possibly been more wrong.

In an effort to understand the sport of NASCAR racing as a whole, I sat down for my first truck race tonight. I promise you I will never miss another again!

Ever been watching one of those races where you just kinda felt like using a ticker online and changing the channel because one guy was running away with it, and there were no crashes? My example is Fontana in the summer. I am sorry, as great as it was to see a Hendrick driver win, I found that race to be dead on boring! I was so bored I played video games while the race was on. No disrespect to Jimmie Johnson intended.

There is no room for video games in the trucks. I learned before the race the guy in second place was only six points behind the leader. That alone should tell you something. Currently Carl Edwards is 106 pts behind Jimme Johnson…106 or 6 what sounds closer to you?

In the NSCS the media keep saying Jimme has this thing locked ( winning the pole today sent the media into a JJ love fest like never before) No one during the entire truck race said a word about who they “just knew had the championship locked” NOT A WORD!!!

OMG CRASHES! There was a crash on lap 1!!!!!TOne of the two guys in title contention got crashed by I think Kyle Buschg ion lap 1!! BEAT THAT SPRINT! It wasn’t a little wall hit either, it was a bad I LOVE ESPN awesome crash. I felt like I was watching Bristol or something. The crashes continued through the entire race. Both the first place guy and the second place guy were involved! It was awesome.

By the end, there wasn’t a truck on that track that didn’t look like it had been in a war zone. The track was the war zone! IT WAS FREAKING AWESOME!

I still have a lot to learn about the truck series, and I still have loads of questions, but I am never missing a race EVER again and you shouldn’t either. This race was by far the most exciting race I have seen all year. The fact that more people don’t watch this stuff is downright shocking. It’s just sad. I am now a truck addict. All it took was one race. JUST ONE! I still love you Jeff, and Is till love the COT and Sprint cup. This is just like having two pies instead of one!
